VerIT OnBoard is a complete infrastructure solution designed
especially for small environments where there may be limited or no

Purpose
Using VerIT Onboard, the installation and configuration of a server
and its associated clients is an automated process. Set-up of all
required applications and servers is quick and standardised.
The solution includes easy-to-use management tools that can be
either utilised onboard by the ship's personnel or executed
remotely by IT support. VerIT OnBoard also comes with a standard
monitoring solution that alerts onshore support when a critical
event occurs on the server (including monitoring of event logs,
server hardware, backup and server utilisation).
The deployment of new server services and/or end-user applications
is fully automated, and onboard personnel only need basic IT skills
in order to install, configure and update the IT infrastructure.
VerIT - Connecting business
The VerIT standard from DNV provides a cost-effective and secure
IT infrastructure for the maritime industry - on board and in the
office. VerIT has been in use since 2002, and has proven track
record in complex and international organisations.
